myfinmak (“we”, “us”) operates the website myfinmak.com and the tools linked from it. For questions about this policy or your data, write to info@myfinmak.com.
Bank statements and related documents you upload are processed only to produce the output you asked for. They are held in server memory for the duration of that processing and are not written to any permanent storage, database or backup. Generated output files are deleted from the server immediately after your download begins. We do not access, review or analyse the contents of your files.
Your first report requires no signup. After that, we ask for an email address so you can continue using the beta. We use it to send product updates, notify you of new supported banks or tools, and tell you about changes to pricing. Firm name and city are optional. You can ask us to delete this at any time.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify individuals.
If you are a chartered accountant or other professional uploading a client’s statement, that client’s data is personal data for which you are responsible. Please ensure you have the client’s consent or another lawful basis before uploading. Where possible, redact information that is not needed for the conversion. During the beta we recommend against uploading statements of unusually sensitive matters.
We process the limited data described above to provide a service you have asked for, and on the basis of the consent you give when you enter your email. We aim to operate consistently with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may at any time ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by writing to info@myfinmak.com. We will respond within 30 days.
All traffic to this site and the tools is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to the systems that hold captured email addresses is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
The application runs on cloud infrastructure operated by third-party hosting providers, who process data on our behalf under their own security terms. If we introduce payment processing, card details will be handled entirely by the payment gateway and never touch our servers.
Uploaded files: not retained. Generated output: deleted immediately after download. Email addresses: retained until you ask us to delete them, or until the account or mailing list is closed. Server logs: retained for a limited period by our hosting provider.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where we hold your email, tell you by email.
