Tools / Bank Statement Analyzer
Live · free betaEvery transaction out of the PDF, checked against the running balance, categorised, and delivered as an Excel workbook you can work in immediately.
One download, six sheets. Formatted, with headers frozen and figures right-aligned — ready to hand to an article or paste into working papers.
| Sheet | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Transactions | Every row: date, narration, cheque number, withdrawal, deposit, running balance, plus an auto-assigned category. |
| Party-wise Summary | Counterparties grouped from the narration with total received, total paid and number of transactions. |
| Monthly Summary | Month-by-month credits, debits, net movement and closing balance. |
| Category Summary | Totals by category — salary, rent, GST, EMI, interest, cash, transfers and more. |
| Cash Transactions | Cash deposits and withdrawals isolated, with running totals. The entries that attract scrutiny. |
| High-Value Report | Everything above a threshold you set (default ₹50,000), both sides. |
Most PDF-to-Excel converters fall over on Indian bank statements. These are the specific problems this tool was built to solve.
Bank narrations wrap across two or three lines in the PDF. Naive converters split one transaction into three rows. This one stitches them back together.
Older branches and co-operative banks issue scanned statements with no text layer at all. OCR reads them, then the same balance verification applies.
Net-banking downloads are usually locked with a PAN or date-of-birth password. Unlock them inside the tool — no third-party website.
The dangerous failure is not a crash, it is a number that is quietly wrong. Every extracted row is reconciled against the running balance, and mismatches are reported.
During the beta, yes — entirely. Your first report needs no signup. After that we ask for an email so we can tell you when banks are added or the tool changes. When paid plans start, beta users get a long free run and plenty of notice.
No. The file is processed in memory and the generated Excel is deleted from the server the moment your download begins. We do not keep the PDF, and we do not read your data. See the privacy policy for specifics.
Try it anyway — the parser handles many formats it has not been explicitly tested against. If it fails, email the statement (or a redacted page) to info@myfinmak.com and we will usually add the format within a week.
Where a statement has a running balance column, accuracy is verifiable: the tool reconciles every row against it and tells you if the chain breaks. Always review the on-screen figures before using the output in a filing.
Practitioners use it for audit working papers, loan applications, cash-flow reviews and litigation support. The output is a working paper, not an opinion — review it as you would any junior’s work.
It opens on a phone, but uploading a PDF and reviewing 400 rows is far more comfortable on a laptop.
The analyzer is free while in beta. No card, no installation — your first report needs nothing but the PDF.
